I had the same journey with those Donni pants — obsessed for weeks and ended up with the same pair of Everlanes (also secondhand). They are everything I dreamed of and I’m so glad I didn’t splurge on the original obsession!
Me too! Have you discovered Beni yet? It is my favorite new thing. It’s a browser plugin (I think there’s an app too) that allows you to check any ecommerce item to see if any secondhand sites have the item, or something similar, available. It’s how I found the Everlane pants!
FWIW, I was able to rent the Donni pants over the summer (wanted to rent a wedding guest dress, ended up being able to get 5 things) and I did not like the way they fit my hips at all. I have tried the Banana Republic version and really like them!
